Make this fluffy, soft, and slightly sweet milk bread at home with simple ingredients! Perfect for sandwiches or just with butter and jam.

๐Ÿงพ Ingredients:

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 1/4 cup sugar

  • 2 tsp instant yeast

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 cup warm milk

  • 1/2 cup warm heavy cream or evaporated milk

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tbsp melted butter

  1. In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt.

  2. Pour in the warm milk and cream, then add the egg and melted butter.

  3. Mix and knead the dough until smooth and elastic (10โ€“15 mins).

  4. Cover and let it rise in a warm place for 1โ€“1.5 hours or until doubled in size.

  5. Punch down the dough, divide into equal parts, and shape into balls.

  6. Place the dough into a greased loaf pan and let rise again (30โ€“45 mins).

  7. Brush the top with milk or egg wash.

  8. Bake at 180ยฐC (350ยฐF) for 25โ€“30 minutes until golden brown.
