1. Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 325°F (160°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan and wrap the outside in foil to prevent water bath leaks.
2. Make the Crust
In a bowl, combine cookie crumbs, sugar, and melted butter.
Press the mixture firmly into the bottom of your springform pan.
Bake for 10 minutes, then remove and let cool.
3. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling
In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
