For the Filling:

2 cups (300 g) shredded chicken

1 small onion (80 g), finely chopped

1 tbsp (15 ml) oil

½ tsp salt

½ tsp black pepper

½ tsp red chili powder

2 tbsp mayonnaise
For Assembling:

4–6 puff pastry sheets (thawed)

1 egg (for brushing)
Optional Topping:

1 tsp white sesame seeds

1 tsp black sesame seeds

1️⃣ Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.
2️⃣ Sauté the onion until soft and lightly golden.
3️⃣ Add shredded chicken, salt, black pepper, and red chili powder.
Cook for 2–3 minutes until well combined.
4️⃣ Turn off the heat. Let the mixture cool slightly, then mix in mayonnaise for that creamy texture.
5️⃣ Cut puff pastry sheets into equal squares.
6️⃣ Place 1–2 tablespoons of filling in the center of each square.
7️⃣ Fold into a square (or triangle if you prefer) and seal the edges tightly using a fork.
8️⃣ Brush the tops with beaten egg for a beautiful golden finish.
9️⃣ Sprinkle white and black sesame seeds on top (optional but recommended!).
🔟 Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes or until golden, puffed, and perfectly flaky.
