🥖 Bread Pocket Recipe

Soft, fluffy, and perfect for stuffing your favorite fillings!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp instant yeast
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup warm water
  • 1 tbsp oil

Instructions:

  1. Activate the yeast:
    In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
  2. Make the dough:
    Add flour, salt, and oil. Knead into a soft, smooth dough.
  3. First rise:
    Cover the dough and let it rest for 1 hour, or until it doubles in size.
  4. Shape the pockets:
    Divide the dough into small balls and roll each into a medium oval shape (slightly thick).
  5. Second rest:
    Let the shaped dough rest for 15–20 minutes.
  6. Cook:
    Heat a pan and cook each bread until it puffs up and has light golden spots.
  7. Serve:
    Cut open the pockets and fill with your favorite ingredients – enjoy warm! 🌿🧀🥗
