Ingredients

4 cups all-purpose flour (plus extra for dusting)

2 teaspoons yeast

3 tablespoons sugar

1¼ cups warm water or warm milk

¼ cup oil

2 eggs

½ teaspoon salt
Instructions

Activate the yeast
In a bowl, mix the warm water (or milk), sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5–10 minutes until it becomes foamy. -
Mix wet ingredients
Add oil and eggs to the yeast mixture and mix well. -
Add dry ingredients
Gradually add flour and salt. Mix until a soft dough forms.

Knead the dough
Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic. -
First rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size. -
Shape the rolls
Punch down the dough and divide it into equal portions. Shape into balls and place them in a greased baking pan. -
Second rise
Cover and let the rolls rise again for 30–40 minutes until puffy.

Bake
Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F). Bake for 18–22 minutes or until golden brown on top. -
Butter finish (optional but recommended 😋)
Brush warm rolls with melted butter for extra softness and flavor.
