Share

A delightful summer treat that combines creamy vanilla ice cream with a rich chocolate shell and your favorite toppings. Easy to make, fun to decorate, and irresistibly delicious!

📋 Ingredients

  • Vanilla ice cream (or any flavor you love)
  • Melting chocolate (milk, dark, or white)
  • Toppings of choice:
  • Crushed nuts
  • Crushed cookies
  • Sprinkles
  • Popsicle sticks

🧊 Instructions

1. Prepare the Ice Cream Base

Scoop the ice cream into a rectangular dish or silicone mold, pressing it down to create an even, compact layer.
Tip: Line your dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
Freeze for at least 4 hours or until completely firm.

2. Cut into Bars or Unmold

  • If using a dish: remove from the freezer and slice into bars.

  • If using molds: gently pop the frozen bars out.

3. Insert the Popsicle Sticks

Carefully insert a popsicle stick into the base of each bar, making sure it’s secure and centered. Return to the freezer while preparing the chocolate.

🍫 Coat & Decorate

4. Melt the Chocolate

In a heatproof bowl, melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in 20-second bursts, stirring until smooth.

5. Dip and Decorate

  • Dip each frozen bar into the melted chocolate, letting the excess drip off.

  • Immediately sprinkle with your choice of nuts, cookies, or sprinkles before the chocolate sets.

  • Place the dipped bars on a parchment-lined tray.

Return to the freezer for 15–30 minutes to set completely.
