🧁 Moist Vanilla Cupcakes

Soft, buttery, and perfectly fluffy—these vanilla cupcakes are pure comfort in every bite!


Ingredients

  • 1½ cups (190g) all-purpose flour
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup (150g) white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ cup (120ml) whole milk
  • ¼ cup (60ml) vegetable oil

👩‍🍳 Instructions

  1. Cream it up:
    Beat softened butter and sugar together until light, pale, and fluffy. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each. Stir in vanilla extract.
  2. Mix dry ingredients:
    In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Combine:
    Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk. Mix until just combined. Stir in vegetable oil until smooth and lump-free.
  4. Bake:
    Line a muffin pan with cupcake liners and fill each about 2/3 full. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Cool:
    Let cupcakes cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.
