🧾 Ingredients
- 3 cups (375 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 cups (400 g) granulated sugar
- 1 cup (226 g) unsalted butter, softened
- 4 large eggs
- 1½ cups (360 ml) milk
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons vanilla extract

- Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease and line a sheet cake pan. - Mix Dry Ingredients
In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside. - Cream Butter & Sugar
In another bowl, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract. - Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the batter, alternating with the milk.
Mix gently until smooth and well combined. - Prepare for Baking
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and level the top. - Bake
Bake for 30–35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. - Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool completely in the pan before frosting or slicing.
