🌮 Homemade Tortilla Wrap

Soft • Flexible • Perfect for wraps & rolls

Skip store-bought tortillas! These homemade wraps are soft, pliable, and made with simple pantry ingredients. Perfect for burritos, shawarma, quesadillas, and sandwich wraps.

🛒 Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (250g)

  • 1 teaspoon salt (5g)

  • 1 teaspoon sugar (5g)

  • 2 tablespoons oil (30ml)

  • ¾ cup warm water (180ml)

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Mix the Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, and sugar.

2️⃣ Form the Dough

Add oil and warm water. Mix until a soft dough forms.

3️⃣ Knead

Knead for 5–7 minutes until smooth and soft.

4️⃣ Rest

Cover the dough and let it rest for 20–30 minutes.
(This helps make the tortillas easier to roll and softer.)

5️⃣ Divide

Divide the dough into 8 equal balls.

6️⃣ Roll

Roll each ball into a thin, round circle on a lightly floured surface.

7️⃣ Cook

Heat a pan over medium heat.
Cook each tortilla for 30–40 seconds on one side until bubbles appear.
Flip and cook the other side.

8️⃣ Keep Soft

Do not overcook. Stack tortillas under a clean towel to keep them soft and flexible.
