🧾 Ingredients
For the brownie bread:
• 1 cup (125g) all-purpose flour
• ½ cup (60g) unsweetened cocoa powder
• ¾ cup (150g) sugar
• ½ cup (100g) brown sugar
• ½ tsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• 2 large eggs
• ½ cup (120ml) melted butter or vegetable oil
• ¼ cup (60ml) milk
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• ½ cup (90g) chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
For the hot fudge topping:
• ½ cup (90g) dark chocolate chips
• ¼ cup (60ml) heavy cream or milk
• 1 tbsp butter
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F) and grease a loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, sugar, and brown sugar.
- In another bowl, mix eggs, melted butter (or oil), milk, and vanilla until smooth.
- Gently combine wet and dry ingredients — don’t overmix.
- Fold in chocolate chips.
- Pour batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle extra chocolate chips on top.
- Bake for 40–50 minutes, until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs (not dry!).
🍯 Hot Fudge Topping
• Heat cream and butter until hot (not boiling).
• Pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth and glossy.
• Drizzle generously over the warm brownie bread.
