🍰 Vanilla Swirl Bundt Cake
Soft, buttery, and beautifully marbled — this cake is as delicious as it looks ✨
🛒 Ingredients
Dry Ingredients:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ½ tsp salt
Wet Ingredients:
- 250g butter (softened)
- 1½ cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
For the Chocolate Swirl:
- 2–3 tbsp cocoa powder
- 2–3 tbsp milk
- 2 tbsp sugar
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Prepare the Pan
Grease your Bundt pan really well (this is key!)
Lightly dust with flour to prevent sticking
2. Make the Batter
- Cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy
- Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each
- Stir in vanilla extract
- In another bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt
- Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with milk
3. Create the Swirl
Take about 1 cup of the batter and mix it with cocoa powder, milk, and sugar
4. Layer & Swirl
- Pour half of the plain batter into the pan
- Add chocolate batter in random spots
- Cover with remaining plain batter
- Gently swirl with a knife or skewer (don’t overmix!)
5. Bake
Bake at 170–180°C for 45–55 minutes
✔️ Toothpick comes out clean = done
6. Cool & Serve
Let the cake cool in the pan for 10–15 minutes
Turn out onto a rack and cool completely
✨ Optional Glaze (Highly Recommended!)
Mix powdered sugar + a little milk + vanilla
Drizzle over the cake for that perfect bakery-style finish 🤍
