Whether it’s a cozy rainy afternoon or just your usual tea time, a slice of rich, moist chocolate cake can make everything better! Today, we’re going to make a super simple yet delicious homemade chocolate cake that looks amazing and tastes even better.
🧁 Ingredients:

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/2 cup vegetable oil

1 cup sugar (optional, depending on your taste)

1/2 cup cocoa powder

2 eggs

1 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp baking soda

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup melted dark chocolate (optional but recommended)

1 tsp vanilla essence
🥣 Instructions:

In a large mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.

Add oil and milk, then mix well.

In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and baking soda.

Gradually add the dry ingredients into the wet mixture and stir until smooth.

Mix in the vanilla essence and melted chocolate for extra richness.

Pour the batter into a greased cake mold and bake at 180°C (350°F) for about 30–40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Once cooled, drizzle melted chocolate or ganache over the top just like in the photo – it makes it look and taste heavenly!
