Super soft, fluffy & lightly sweet homemade bread
This bread is incredibly soft with a mild sweetness from condensed milk. Perfect for breakfast, sandwiches, or with butter and jam.
π Ingredients

3 cups all-purpose flour

ΒΌ cup sugar

1 packet (2ΒΌ teaspoons) instant yeast

Β½ teaspoon salt

1 cup warm milk (lukewarm, not hot)

ΒΌ cup condensed milk

2 tablespoons butter or oil
-
Extra milk or melted butter (for brushing)

Step 1: Activate the Yeast
In a bowl, combine:

Warm milk

Sugar

Instant yeast
Mix well and cover.
Let it rest for 5β10 minutes until foamy on top.
π This means the yeast is active.
Step 2: Make the Dough
In a large bowl add:

All-purpose flour

Salt
Pour in:

Yeast mixture

Condensed milk
-
Butter or oil
Mix everything together to form a soft dough.
Step 3: Knead the Dough
Transfer the dough to a clean surface and knead for 8β10 minutes until:

Slightly sticky but not wet
π Press with a fingerβif it slowly springs back, itβs ready.
Step 4: First Rise
Place the dough in a greased bowl.
Cover with a cloth or plastic wrap.
Let it rise in a warm place for 1β1.5 hours or until doubled in size.
Step 5: Shape the Bread
Punch down the dough to release air.
Divide into 4β6 equal portions, shape into balls.
Arrange them in a greased loaf pan.
Step 6: Second Rise
Cover again and let rise for 30β40 minutes until puffy.
Step 7: Bake
Preheat oven to 170β180Β°C (340β350Β°F).
Bake for 25β30 minutes until:

Step 8: Finish
Remove from oven and immediately brush the top with:
