🧾 Ingredients
For the Cookies:
- 250 g unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tbsp milk
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- ½ cup cornflour
- ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp salt
For Decoration:
- Red & green glacé cherries 🍒
- Rainbow sprinkles 🌈
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170°C and line baking trays with parchment paper.
- Cream butter and icing sugar until light and fluffy.
- Mix in egg and vanilla extract until well combined. Stir in the milk.
- Combine flour, cornflour, baking powder, and salt in a separate bowl.
- Add dry ingredients gradually to form a soft, smooth dough (thick but pipeable).
- Pipe dough using a star nozzle into desired shapes on the tray.
- Decorate with sprinkles or a piece of glacé cherry in the center.
- Bake until edges turn lightly golden.
- Cool completely before handling and serving.
