✨ Chocolate Chip Muffins ✨
Soft, fluffy, and loaded with gooey chocolate chips — perfect for breakfast or a sweet snack!
🧁 Ingredients
• 2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour
• ½ cup (100g) granulated sugar
• ¼ cup (50g) brown sugar
• 1 tbsp baking powder
• ¼ tsp salt
• ½ cup (120ml) vegetable oil or melted butter
• ¾ cup (180ml) milk
• 2 large eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 cup (170g) chocolate chips (plus extra for topping)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and line a muffin pan with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, granulated sugar, and brown sugar.
- In a separate bowl, mix the oil, milk, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix gently until just combined.
⚠️ Do not overmix — this keeps your muffins soft and fluffy! - Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Divide the batter evenly into the muffin cups, filling each about ¾ full.
Sprinkle a few extra chocolate chips on top for that bakery-style look ✨ - Bake for 18–22 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean
(a few melted chocolate streaks are perfectly fine!). - Let cool slightly and enjoy warm or at room temperature 🤍
💡 Tip: For extra moist muffins, don’t skip the brown sugar — it makes a big difference!
