Preparation Steps
1. Prepare the Dough
1. Mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tablespoon sugar. Leave for 5–10 minutes until foamy.
2. In a bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, remaining sugar, and salt.
3. Add eggs, melted butter, vanilla, red food coloring, and yeast mixture.
4. Knead until you get a soft, smooth dough.
5. Cover and allow it to rise for 1–2 hours until doubled in size.
2. Add the Cinnamon Filling
1. Roll the dough into a large rectangle.
2. Spread softened butter over the surface.
3. Sprinkle evenly with brown sugar and cinnamon.
4. Roll tightly from one end into a log.
5. Cut into equal-sized rolls.
3. Bake the Rolls
1. Arrange rolls in a greased baking pan.
2. Cover and allow them to rise again for 30–45 minutes.
3. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until soft and cooked.
4. Make the Cream Cheese Frosting
1. Beat cream cheese and butter until smooth.
2. Add powdered sugar and vanilla.
3. Mix until creamy.
4. Spread over warm cinnamon rolls.
