π Ingredients
Dough:
β’ 2 Β½ cups all-purpose flour
β’ ΒΌ cup sugar
β’ 1 tsp salt
β’ 1 tbsp instant yeast
β’ 1 egg
β’ ΒΎ cup warm milk
β’ ΒΌ cup butter (softened)
Filling:
β’ Β½ cup butter (softened)
β’ Β½ cup sugar
β’ 1 cup grated cheese (cheddar or quickmelt)
Coating:
β’ Β½ cup breadcrumbs
β’ 2β3 tbsp sugar

1οΈβ£ Make the dough
Mix warm milk, yeast, and a little sugar. Add flour, remaining sugar, salt, egg, and butter.
2οΈβ£ Knead
Knead for 8β10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
3οΈβ£ Shape & fill
Divide the dough, flatten, spread butter + sugar, add cheese, then roll into logs.
4οΈβ£ Coat & bake
Roll in breadcrumbs + sugar. Bake at 180Β°C for 15β18 minutes until golden.
