Ingredients

For the cookie dough:

2 cups (250g) all-purpose flour

Β½ cup (100g) sugar

Β½ cup (115g) butter, softened

1 egg

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Β½ teaspoon baking powder

Pinch of salt

3–4 tablespoons milk (as needed)

For the creamy filling:

1 cup milk

3 tablespoons sugar

2 tablespoons cornstarch

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

 

 

 



1 tablespoon butter

For coating:

Β½ cup sugar

1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)

Method

1. Prepare the dough

Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy.

Add egg and vanilla extract, mix well.

Add flour, baking powder, and salt.

Add milk little by little until a soft dough forms.

Cover and rest for 20 minutes.

2. Shape the cookies

Place dough into a piping bag with a star nozzle.

Pipe spiral circles onto a baking tray.

Bake at 180Β°C (350Β°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden.

3. Make the cream filling

Mix milk, sugar, and cornstarch in a saucepan.

Cook on medium heat while stirring until thick and creamy.

Add vanilla and butter, then cool.

4. Assemble

Pipe cream filling onto one cookie.

Place another cookie on top like a sandwich.

Sprinkle with sugar or cinnamon.

5. Serve
