🧈 Ingredients

(Makes 20–24 biscuits)

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup (60g) powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1¾ cups (220g) all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup (65g) cornstarch
  • ¼ tsp salt

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

2️⃣ Beat the softened butter and powdered sugar until the mixture becomes light, creamy, and fluffy.

3️⃣ Add vanilla extract and mix well.

4️⃣ In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cornstarch, and salt.

5️⃣ Gradually add the dry ingredients to the butter mixture and gently mix until a soft dough forms.

6️⃣ Scoop small portions of dough and roll into smooth balls.

7️⃣ Place on the prepared tray and lightly flatten with your fingers or a fork.

8️⃣ Bake for 12–15 minutes until the bottoms are lightly golden while the tops remain pale.
