✨ Ingredients

🍫 For the Chocolate Cake

  • 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1½ cups milk
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1½ cups hot coffee or hot water

🍓 For the Strawberry Frosting

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cups icing sugar
  • ½ cup strawberry puree or strawberry jam
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2–3 tbsp milk
  • Pink food coloring (optional)

  • Chocolate shavings or sprinkles 🍫

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1️⃣ Prepare the Cake Batter

Preheat oven to 170°C and grease three 8-inch cake pans.

In a large bowl, whisk together:

  • flour
  • cocoa powder
  • sugar
  • baking powder
  • baking soda
  • salt

Add:

  • eggs
  • milk
  • oil
  • vanilla extract

Mix until smooth and fully combined.

Slowly pour in the hot coffee or hot water and stir gently.

2️⃣ Bake the Cakes

Divide the batter evenly into the prepared cake pans.

Bake for 28–35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Allow cakes to cool completely before frosting.

Gradually add icing sugar and continue mixing until smooth.

Add:

  • strawberry puree or jam
  • vanilla extract
  • milk

Beat until light, creamy, and spreadable.
