🍰 Ingredients (Cake Batter)
- 3 eggs
- A pinch of salt
- 120 g sugar
- 150 ml milk
- 80 ml oil
- Juice of 1 lemon 🍋
- 8 heaped tbsp flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
🍋 Creamy Lemon Layer
- 250 ml milk
- 1 egg
- 50 g sugar
- 2 tbsp corn starch
- ½ tsp vanilla sugar
- Zest (shell) of 1 lemon
- 30 g butter
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170°C.
- Beat eggs, salt, and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add milk, oil, and lemon juice — mix well.
- Stir in flour and baking powder until smooth.
- Pour into a greased baking pan.
- Bake for 40 minutes until golden.
🍮 Make the Lemon Cream
- In a saucepan, whisk milk, egg, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla sugar.
- Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly until thick.
- Add lemon zest and butter — mix until smooth.

- Spread the warm lemon cream over the cake
- Dust with powdered sugar
