🍯 Honey Ginger Bread Cake 🍯

🧾 Ingredients
- 2 cups (250 g) all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- ½ tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ½ tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup (113 g) unsalted butter, softened
- ¾ cup (255 g) honey
- ½ cup (100 g) brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- ½ cup (120 ml) milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger, grated (optional)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Preheat oven to 170°C (340°F). Grease and line an 8-inch cake pan.
- Mix flour, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add honey and mix well. Beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in vanilla and fresh ginger (if using).
- Combine dry ingredients with milk in batches. Mix gently until smooth.
- Pour batter into the pan and level the top.
- Bake for 40–45 minutes, or until a skewer inserted comes out clean.
- Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
