🍰 5-Minute Prep Marble Cake (Simple & Delicious)
🥄 Ingredients
- 3 eggs 🥚
- 150 g sugar (¾ cup)
- A pinch of salt
- A little vanilla (vanilla extract or powder)
- 100 ml oil (⅓ cup + 1 tbsp)
- 150 ml milk (⅔ cup)
- 250 g flour (about 2 cups)
- 15 g baking powder (1 tbsp)
For the chocolate part:
- 20 g dark cocoa powder (¼ cup)
- 45 ml milk (3 tbsp)
👩🍳 Instructions
- Prepare the batter
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, sugar, salt, and vanilla until light and slightly fluffy.
- Add oil and milk, mix well.
- Add dry ingredients
- Sift flour and baking powder.
- Add them in two parts, mixing gently each time.
- Make marble effect
- Take 1/3 of the batter into another bowl.
- Mix cocoa powder and 3 tbsp milk into this portion.
- Prepare the pan
- Use a 24 cm baking dish.
- Grease with butter and dust lightly with flour.
- Layer the batter
- Pour plain batter first, then chocolate batter.
- Swirl lightly with a stick or knife for a marble look.
- Bake
- Bake at 170°C for 35–40 minutes.
- Check with a toothpick—if it comes out clean, it’s done.
✨ Tips
- Don’t overmix after adding flour → keeps cake soft.
- You can replace oil with melted butter for richer flavor.
- Add chocolate chips or nuts if you want extra texture.
