🍯 Honey & Vanilla Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cups flour
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup butter or oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla
  • 1½ tsp baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Method

1. Mix the Wet Ingredients

Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

Add the honey, eggs, and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth and well combined.

2. Prepare the Dry Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour, baking powder, and salt.

3. Combine

Add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture alternately with the milk. Mix gently until the batter becomes smooth.

4. Bake

Pour the batter into a greased cake pan and bake at 170°C for 35–40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

5. Cool & Serve

Allow the cake to cool before frosting or slicing.
